Alternator/batt

OK before i hook my system up i notice my lights while the car was on had a weak glow to it and it would kind be twitchy. So i still put my system in then i say about 2 month later my car did not want to start. so i had a dead batt and a BAD alternator. So i went ahead and bought me a alt and a brand new battery. So now oneday pass i am bumping my system but notice it is not as loud as usual taken the fact that after the new alt and battery my lights did not dim a lil bit. So now i have another DEAD battery, but it was not just my system that drain the battery that quick. So what i want to know is could it be my POSITVE TO BATT...AND GROUND TO BATT........are no good because my alt is not charging the battery and this is a brand new tested alt.I mean my car started fine and everything but after riding around with the system on A/C and then not playing it for a LONG time. then let my car sit four about 3hours came back to start it and i get nothing. also i need a jump just to start it so i am guessing my alt to batt positive is no good i mean its a older car also 1985 but all before i had no problem till after a few months?

as far as the before story goes, maybe you needed a new alt and battery, but as of now, as long as your new alt and battery were installed right then I don't know, check the wiring and make sure everything is wired correctly and securely.

I mean the wires look OLD the car is 21yrs old.....SO i mean stuff like that does go bad as for the wire itself.....I mean i had my system in for a GOOD WHILE NOW. and everything was fine i mean i would booom all day long but till this month the batt is not getting charge might be the wires

well, that's probably it then, change out the wires, do the big three
