Alternator Amperage

if its a 3g its 95 amps, and if its a 4g is 130A.

both of my explorers (a 94 with the OHV 4.9 v6 and now my 98 with the same engine) were 95A units. if yours is the v6, then you should have the 95A unit as that was the only engine available in a v6 for that year explorer and the only alt available for that engine was a 95A stock one (thats IIRC)

edit: i was wrong. there was a 95 and a 130 available on the OHV engines.

Look's just like the one i found so i did what bumpincrv said. i have 130amp alt:D that's not bad at all for what i'll be running two batt's + BIG 3 i think i should be good.
