alternator amp opinion

hey guys need recommendations ..... i have a sundown saz 1500d with 2 - 12" FIQ, i did the big 3 ... im still running the stock battery ,which im upgrading to a orbitial extrreme and have my stock 105 amp alt ....and when the bass hits my voltage goes real low and the whole light dimming thing going on ..... what amp alt should i get ? i was thinking of getting mine rebuilt to a 160 amp would that be good enough ??? thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

1989 ***** am gta....was just trying not to have to add a 2nd battery cuz with the box and the amp in the hatch leaves no room ...and im not planning to upgrade my system anytime soon just going to be running the sundown 1500

I know you said you had a space issue, but a batcap 800 is only 7in x 3in. batcap makes the most power per pound of any company so they put out a lot of power for their size. I think the most efficient thing you could do would be to replace your car battery with a batcap 800 and add an additional batcap 800 in the back. using the same battery in front and back is the safest and most efficient thing to do in my opinion.
