altenator help

i recently bought a new alt for my car cause i also bought 2 re xxx 12s and i heard they demanded lots of power but yea

like i said i bought the alt and its not a direct fit so the lil clip thing that my car has which is a Honda Accord 90 it has a circle clip for the stock alt. and my alt has a kinda rectangle and at the ends are rounded... im sure its called a oval but im havin a brain fart lol

if someone can let me kno wher i can buy clips and what the hell the wires on the stock clip do...
