Is it better to use the crossover on the headunit or the crossover on the mid/hi amp? If the crossover on the headunit is used what should the crossover on the amp be set at? If the crossover on the amp is used should the crossover on the be turned off? Righ now I'm using the crossover on the amp with the front high passed @ 100 hz and the rear high passed @ 80 hz. Does this sound correct?

I use both I have my amp set at 80 and head unit too Shouldnt make too big a deal if you a good amp then it should sound nice and clean

What ever sound best.

Use the crossover on the amp and turn off the headunit crossover.

Or use the crossover on the headunit and set the crossover on the amp to a setting where it won't really affect anything.

Or set them to the same frequency.

Or cascade them.

Does it sound correct to your ears?

We, sitting on an internet forum, are not going to be able to tell you how your stereo sounds. Crossovers aren't a one-size-fits-all setting, or a blanket-statement type of setting. There are many, many variables.

.......Seriously, you have 4 6x9's in the rear //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I just though that most of you guys did it one certain way. I don't know everything about car audio. I was just asking a question, but I will figure it out. I appreciate your help.

So I did a tone test and found that the tweeters start making sound at about 1500hz which would put the crossover several thousand hertz above...
