Alt problems......FML!!!!!!!

If you decide to go new, my recommendation is Excessive Amperage. My alt has been running strong for almost 2 years now running 5k, and not being too modest with the volume.

my alt completely took a mega crap. No charging at all.
I got my 90A stock alt for my intrepid fixed for $45.

I don't know how it takes $100+ to fix certain alts. Must be proprietary parts or something.....

I have a dc power alt not stock. Also dont have any alt shops around here

But idk if mine is bad. It possible it could be a ground issue. I moved around by batts and changed around my grounds and thats when it started. But idk. I could be anything

If you own a DMM you can test voltage yourself as I wouldn't trust anyone, even for something that simple.

Especially most of the ppl that work at advance, sturdavants, orielly. Ect. (idk how to spell it don't flame me) There are some real stupid people working in those places.

Did you try what debeez said with having the batts unhooked and seeing what voltage it made?

not yet... but im going to... i may take it off the truck and get it tested....
