Alrighty new system is in(iamamp3pimps Testbox)impressions

Well just listened to it for about 10 minutes and for 1 12" Im impressed

For those that dont know here is what the newest addition of my system has:

I have 2 subs Im gonna test:

Massive 12" DMX(not in yet)

Rockford Fosgate POWER SERIES HX2 (In now )

Test Box made by Robin(iamamp3pimp on this site......cool kat/and a nice fellow)

Box is gonna have three tunes and I can change them at will.....Now the box is 2.2 cubes(after displacements) and has 30 square inches of port and is tuned for 29hz.

Amps:

Both Kickers Kx2500.1/Kx650.4

First impressions of these are very strong and effiecient amps,much better setup for daily then the others Ive ran,but this might change as Ive only begun to open up on this setup.

Wiring:

1/0 front bat to back battery.With fuses before both bats.....250s

1/0 to Kx2500.1 with fuse by amp......150 probably change it to a 250.

2 gauge power/grounds to 650.4 from back battery.

1/0 ground from back battery to Chassis.

Havent really got on it yet but this HX2 sub has alot more SQ then I thought and sounds clean in this box and hits lows extremely low........love it so far and cant wait to turn the wick up more in the future.

It made that for 500 miles maybe........been over 600 for awhile

Havent slamed on it yet gains are only half up on amp maybe........But even at this it sounds alot better SQ wise and hits about as hard as the L7s I had in there.

Ill know more when I pump it up.

Will say my wife said Im not aloud to turn it on til Im out of the neighborhood so noone knows she home by herself:laugh:

No........My L7 liked to be faced to the Passengerside/ port front and sub back. I thought about tryin this once I get everything right and get used to hearing it and then see if I like the difference.

The ports 30sq " tuned to 29 hz Ill fix it.......

Box is 2.2 internal after everything is taken out.
