i did like a program called ... ah fu
it was a sweet application.

ii remember now! i spent the last hour trying to find what the hell it was calleD!

its called opencanvas. and it lets you paint with all sorts of cool transparancy\smudge effects like real paint would do. i loved drawing with it, but it was still in its infancy, and it looks to be taking off quite well. some of the pictures people do with this are quite impressive IMO.

I do remember something along those lines....some JUST posted somthing like it on another board, I can't remember which though, so I'm fired. Toon boom makes cartoon's by animating splines, it's come a LONG way from v1. I'm totally with you on the Illustrator layout, I do as much in PS as I can, sometimes people need vector art though.

My station got an ILLEGAL copy of PS from AMAZON!!! the serial number was invalid, after noticing the CRAPPY CD jacket, it looked inkjetish, we called adobe. When we told by Adobe they couldn't help us, we asked 'where should we buy photoshop' the answer was adobe. bishes. so now we buy from adobe.com.

i used photoshop 5.1, 6, 7, and now i use CS.

adobe creative suite is ****ing awesome. i do graphics in photoshop, any kind of vector stuff (logos ect) in illustrator (not often tho), and i use indesign to lay it all out, then i use indesign to export a PDF.

the package rocks.

like, i wish i could set indefinate levels of masterpages in indesign. like a masterpage for a set of masterpages. like- i want them all to have a T in the top right corner, ill assign all the masterpages, their masterpage with a T in the corner. say i need to change that T to a J, i can do it with ONE page that effects all pages.

I use USM to touch up some of my photos, but most people just use various filters over the entire image then think it's the most creative, original thing to grace the intraweb.
