it's loud, it shakes my neighbors inside of their house. I get text messages from the daughter all the time "so my couch is vibrating, so I look outside and there you go by the house"

How did they screw the surround down ? U mean the spider packs are screwed down now?

That works i guess but im hoping they only did that on old stock and actually fixed the problem on new models

"A nice revision coming to all factory made X series (and the remainder of factory made Z v.4 series that are currently in the works). We will be producing ALL Z v.4 series in-house by the end of the 1Q of 2014 -- but we will retain the "hybrid" production system on the X for some time (where we build some here and make some at the factory). For all factory-made drivers the surround will be glued AND bolted on. The gasket does fit on top of the steel sheets."

Why not just find out why the glue isnt adhering to the basket ..whether it be the glue or the shiny paint on the basket ..the steel plates are a easy cop out ..

Lol doubtful. At least not in my town. There's a total of 1,200 people that live here. I know everyone, and everyone knows me. People in this town surprisingly respect one another.

So, I'm thinking I'll go with two Sundown X-15 d-2 and an Alpine MRX-M240 amp?

That should throw about 1,300 watts to each of those subs... I think that would be better?

Then I could probably get away with a 240amp alternator and only one extra battery?

I want to know if an amp pushing about 2,700 RMS will only require a 240amp alt and two batteries.

Anyone have any advice?
