Alright, so I finally got my 13W7 and Orion 1200D hooked up. I love it.
However, I've wanted more since I heard it. Yes it is loud, yes it hits decently... but I know that I want more...
Here's what I'm thinking...
Going to run dual batteries, dual Mechman alts, two runs of 1/0 power and ground wire.
I've got a 2006 Dodge Dakota extended cab (two full, two half doors)... I have a lot of room behind the front seats as I took the back wall / jumper seats out about a month after I bought the truck.
I'm really liking the Sundown Z v.4 series as my main drivers, but I'm undecided as to two 12's or two 15's... trying to figure out exactly what sized box works best for these two options...
I'm also considering adding one Sundown SA-8 into the mix as well for the mid-bass (I listen to a lot of metal, heavy rock). What would be the downfalls of building one large box, to house all three of these subs? I would be considering doing the main drivers in with side ports, firing off the rear doors, and having a smaller sealed box housing the 8, firing forward.
Would I get much cancellation? Is this just a terrible idea?
Anyone have any insight on this?
Oh, I'm looking to run the main drivers off a Sundown SAZ-3500 V2, and the 8" off a Sundown SAX-125.4 running the rear channel bridged with the front channel running my door speakers...
