they can handle close to 1500 watts i heard, there SQ subs though, and the Type R's are SPL subs. You may want to Check out the RE SX series if you are wanting more bass though.

RE SE is kind of a spl sub but better sq than the type r's, they bump and sound better

You need to contact Team H&K for them, he has them so cheap, they are usually 250-300 bux but he has them VERY VERY LOW, half the normal price.
