well i searched, but since "the word X is too short or common" its hard to sort through all of the type r threads.

So, how are these subs. I know theyre supposed to be amazing for SQ, but can they get pretty loud? It would be in a ported box made by me. and would 1100 Hifonics watts be okay for this? the amp in the newer line, the 1606d. So anyone who has had experience with this sub, please give your feedback.

it would be enough to get it going. i have one for sale if you're interested- never seen power.

yea the type x 12s do sound good and get decently loud. at a local comp this weekend there was a f150 with 6 type X's in a blowthrough on 3 rf2000.1s. the truck sounded great for daily driving but only did 143.2 windows down on the TL. this is my only experience with type xs but for daily driving they sound good...didnt shock me on the meter.

hmm.....i dont need really loud. just decently loud. and this will be the first setup after having an infinity reference ported with 300 watts, so im hoping for a rather big improvement.
