Alpine Type-R's or RE SX?

I need some opinions on which setup to go for. Both will be in a ported box with a 1200w amp. (not sure on which amp yet)

Either 1 15" RE SX

or

2 12" Alpine Type-R's

Which setup would ya'll rather have? I'm looking for some serious breathe taking bass.

I had a 15SX and a Viper1200.1 and that ***** could take your breathe away.

2 type R's would be great...they pound...never heard a 15" SX though so cant say between the two

Get the SX is an AWESOME driver.

i really liked my old type R's, im sure the new ones are great too.

I would think they would have better SQ than an SX would, but I havent heard the new R's, and i had my SX in an SPL box
