Alpine type R VS Kicker L7

I have 2 15 inch dual 4 ohm L7s powerd by 2 Kicker 750Z.1. Would 2 12 or 2 15 inch Type Rs sound better and hit just as hard? Both in ported Box using my 750Z.1 amps. Thanks for any help. Im thinking of switching to the type Rs

the type rs would prolly sound better but probably wouldn't hit as hard.

not a chance, type r's are nothing compared to L7's. don't get me wrong, they can be decently loud, but the L7 blows them out of the water. i was going to get a type r before i got my l7, i'm much happier=]

x2, L7's > Type-R's for overall spl and sq. I've heard L7's in alot of installs and everytime they have sounded perfect. The only thing is that the power handling is iffy...i have a friend whos givin 2 of them like 1200-1500 Total to each and they have blown before.

Also, if you buy authorized, the kicker warranty is t3h pwnage
