Alpine Type R issue...

while he's breaking it in. his amp goes up to 750 or something like that, not too sure. but he's powering 500 to it now
750 is a good number for those type-r's. I had about 800 on my old olddddd type-r for around 8 months and it never even broke a sweat.

Tell him if he wants to hit the lows, he needs to tune lower, and he should use all of that amps potential (so long as he isn't clipping)!!! Like I said, breaking a sub in isn't necessary.

Either way he will enjoy the setup, because that sub will POUND with 500 OR 750 watts in the right box.
