Alpine headunit face compatibility

I have an Alpine CDA-105 and I have been wanting to go back to an Alpine CDE-9852. However, since they aren't readily available anymore, I was thinking of possibly swapping the face on it. Here is the Alpine 105 with the face removed:

It looks like the 9852 face could fit on it. Anyone know the compatibility of the Alpine headunit faces?
