Im looking at 4 channel type X and my concern is how the plug will hold up to big bass system?

If you are concerned about the Plug connection, I think I would look at a different amplifier for a more secure connection. Whats a BIG BASS SYSTEM?

True… I can get one for a good deal. The system be 8k and 2 15

Sure enough man. Ive ran a little over 10k in the past on 4 12s. Ive never had any issues with using Ferrules for a tight/secure connection.

Ferrules keep it clean, especially for power where shorts do happen. If you don't try them, you could fry them!
