Alpine amp control via head unit?

I have an alpine cda9831 head unit and an alpine mrdm301 amp. I know there is a way to control the amp with the head unit and you need a controller cable. my question is what cable do you need, and who would have it? crutchfield?

thanks guys.

oh yea, and i got an alpine sws 1242d sub, dvc, how should i wire it to the amp? I want the lowest ohm load possible.. i dont care if i blow teh amp i got the warrenty hahaha. its a mono amp. i will research a bit but if anyone knows off the top of their head...thanks for not flaming me and tell me to check teh sticky. I know. i'm just asking in case you know off the top of your head.

thanks again.

lowest ohm u can go is 2 ohm..... 1242 is dual voice coil 4 ohm sub, so you wire the coils in parallell giving you a 2 ohm load which the amp will take just fine. Youll see around 300-400 watts.
