Can't seem to find much info on Alphasonik amps, except that they share the same parent company...

The PMA640HCA claims to do 160x4 @ 4-ohms, and be able to run 960x2 @1-ohm mono.

Does anyone have any or heard of any experience with this amp, and if it is really able to run a mono 1-ohm load on a pair of bridged channels?

The HCA series are High Current Amps, so they require a certain amount of power to get the full power out of them, but from what ive hread, if powered corrrectly, they do what they say. I plan on buying the one that puts out 3000-watts @1ohn.
