I am just waiting for the right car... one that im actually gonna keep...If i could only find a 3000GT that i like.

What i have.

Alpine CDA-7998

Boston Acoustics Z6 Comps (front)

Boston Acoustics Z6 Comps (rear)

JL 300/2 (front)

JL 300/2 (rear)

12" JL W7

JL 1000/1

Im planning on picking up a 300/4 to run the tweets off of... would this be worth it? I am still debating on whether i should bi-amp the comps or not.

The only thing i am missing is the wiring... that i will be ordering from knukonceptz, a yellowtop or two, and a ho alt (which i cant order cause i dont know what car this is going to go into)

I also plan on upgrading the headunit to an alpine IVA-D310 with PXA-H701 in the future, sometime later on this year.

so should i bi-amp the comps and buy the 300/4 ... actually... i pretty much bought it already..

If it were me, I'd run just 1 set of the Boston comps up front off of a 300/2 and just get a nice little set of coaxials in the back for rear fill. That w7 will take care of the back anyway. With a proper front stage set-up, you can make it seem as if the music is "surrounding" you. You would have saved some money to. Just my $0.02.

Why should i run coax in the rear instead though. I mean, theres no point in me selling these because i would never pay what they cost for them, and if i have them, why not just run them all around?

I realize im trying to get the soundstage in the front... but ive run with no rear fill and i dont like it.

I just installed 2 sets of kenwood components in my boys celica, off of an alpine v12 amp and it sounds **** good.

Yeah I am not much for just front stage as well. I think you have a pretty bad *** setup going so far. I wish I could hear that bish when it is all installed. Good luck!

You went overboard with 2 sets of Z6's. I hope you can get a proper install for those to experience them they way they were meant to be experienced.
