all you p880prs guys take me some pics with ipod adapter

I found lots of pics thanks everyone, but i found the wire pic and i see fr,r,sub power speakers etc...but where is the aux input? is it in the ipod adapter and i select it like a source or whaty?

Well thats the thing, it's not a traditional AUX input. There is one in the front and one in the back. The back uses the IP-Bus thingy, the front uses a 2.5" stereo jack.

My PM over on Passat World explains why I switched.

just a heads up, crutchfield has the pioneer ipod adapter CD-iB100ii for $49 right now, combine that with a $10 amex coupon (that was supposed to expire 2 months ago but still works) and $7 fatcash (fatwallet.com), and it can be had for $33 (free shipping, no tax) once all is said and done...

Purchased it last week when it was OOS and it just shipped yesterday //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Just as a reference, my local car audio shop was selling it for $129

its 50 at BB how does the fatcash thing work?

First, clear your shopping cart at crutchfield, then clear your cookies/cache/history.

Go to Fatwallet.com, register a new acct.... (its free)

Click on the Stores tab and find Crutchfield... Use the link they provide to get to crutchfield (a popup will appear showing your earning $7 if you place an order)

Add the adapter to your cart and place your order. Crutchfield will report the transaction to fatcash, and you should recieve an email 2-3 days after you make the purchase from fatcash (mine came in 2). The money will be available in your fatcash acct in 2-3 months....

I've been using fatcash links for over a year and have already racked up over $250 back.... Sure you have to wait a month or two before you can cash out, but its free and works incredibly well.

Just bought the iPod adapter at BB today, had a 10 dollar gift card, so it came out to like 42.xx or something. Sweet deal, can't pass that up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

yeah its on sale everywhere. It didnt occur to me i can just go buy a rear aux in plug and keep my omnifi with the face plate rather then use the ipod in the car. I really like the omnifi dmp1 and i own it already. If i want gauges or something down the road i may get the ipod adapter but for now ill stick with the omnifi
