All wiring, fuses, etc I will require?

Hey guys need some help.

I just want to confirm exactly what i need for my install. All my eqpt is in my sig. keep in mind that my VGA1600.2 has 2 power inputs.

1- 0/1 amp kit including power, ground, remote wire plus 250 ANL fuse and fuse holder like this one: Is 250 amp fuse good?

1- 3 to 4 POS fused distribution block so i can run 4 AWG wire to my amps. Like this one? Is 150 MIDI amp fuse good?

And I guess I would need 2 RCA's and another remote wire?

And how much speaker wire should I get and what size? 14 or 16 AWG

Anything else? Do I need anything to wire the door speakers/comps?

you might want some barrier spade term's for your amp(s) if they have that input...also some female quick slides for the speakers are nice as well....what about a ground dist block?

Im going to do my best to help you.

Most amps tell you what gauge wire to use, if yours don't just CLICK HERE to check. My recomendation is to go with 1/0 gauge from the battery to the location of the amps. You will need distro block to then devide that power cable in two. Remeber that the lager the wire the more power the amp will recieve thus less distortion due to lack there of.

As for the wiring, i really recommend that you just buy one of those kits off of Ebay, it will have everything that you need except the distro block.

1. You will need rca male to rca male that will go from your HU to the amps. since you have two you will need to sets of these cables. If you HU has 2 sets of preamp out the run them both from there. If your amp has an a pre amp that will work too.

2. You will need a remote wire that will run from the HU to one amp and then just run another from the first amp to the second.

3. You will need a self tapping screw that you are going to use to gound the amps to the chasis.

Example

by the way dont waste your money on a capacitor. do the big 3 search the forms for that. and if that is not enough get an High Output Alternator, again search the forms for that.
