What is the difference between regular spruce or fir plywood and birch plywood in terms of SQ?

thats a sick *** finish right there, i like the look.

but the price, Mirror Coat 1-1/2 Quart Kit Price: $59.99 , is way too high, it would take about $180 shipped, worth of that stuff to do a single enclosure. lol.

would a gallon of clear polyester resin achieve the same results and still be cheaper?
