All pioneer head units - how??

I have the deh-p6700, how do I take off that annoying flashing from black to blue light when the radio is turned off but the car is on. I just want it black and show the time, not flash back and forth after 30 seconds. I cant figure it out to turn it off. Its so dumb, help.

you have to press and hold function, then i forget, but it's something like turn off demo mode or something. you must do this when it's turned off

turn the radio off by holding src then hit the 5 button to turn off reversing.....6 turns off demo
