Ok...so I just got my amp and wires all put in. But I'm hooking it up to a stock cd player in a s10. Any ideas on how to get to the speaker wires without tearing my dash apart? And if anyone is knowledgable in s10 and knows the wires colors that would also help...Its a 2000 chevy s10 zr2

1st set ur parking brake

2nd turn ur key on to accessory

3rd put ur gear shift into 1st

4th pop the center panel

5th disconnect all the plugs for 4wd(if u have it )

6th remove 4 bolts holding radio ( 1/4inch ish)

7th pull radio

8th come back and thank me

Haha, my midget passed away so i have to do things the hard way. Thanks for the help I'll post how it turns out after I'm done. Maybe take some pictures if my camera lets me.

Frustrating, no color coordination bewtween the speakers....and no diagram so I'm blindly guessing...anyone knwo the colors of the rear speaker wires in a 2000 chevy s10?

Radio 12v--- orange

Radio Ground--- black

Radio Ignition--- yellow

Radio Illumination--- brown

Dimmer--- gray

Power Antenna--- pink...never in a s10 or blazer...but other gm's

LF Speaker +/- tan - grey

RF Speaker +/- lt green - dk green

LR Speaker +/- brown - yellow

RR Speaker +/- dk. blue- lt. blue
