Alarm install help

When hooking up a standard 1-way viper alarm to a 95 honda civic coupe, the diagram on 12volt for the honda says horn wire is color/color , use relay. (I'm using the horn, not a siren). What does it mean use relay? Whats the purpose of the relay (polarity converting, adding second wire, etc.)and how would I wire it?

The alarm output is capable of supplying about 250 milliamps of current and your horns likely draw 25-30 amps. The relay is an electric switch that allows you to switch a high current device with a low current signal.
