Alarm Guys GET IN HERE

Okay well i want a great alarm on my truck. i ahve been looking around at clifford and viper. Was plannin on goin with the viper 791vx then i got an offer for a viper 5900sst what is the difference between the two and which is better? also are there any others out there you would recommend. i want it to have remote start, 2 way paging, and any other benefits to keep the price around 200-250 thanks

I Have the viper 791xv installed in my Monte. Its a killer unit. you can get them @ ikesound for 175.......... Dont know about the other units. my 791 pwns

5900 is sst... so it is going to give you a mile range instead of the 1000-1500' that the 791 gives you.

get the 5900 i have the clifford model of it the 50.5x and then a 791 on my cars and i like my sst better.

791xv is Responder Technology, The older flagship technology. SST is the new Technology, In certain conditions when you hit a button their will be a 2-5 sec delay between you hitting the button and the car/ 2 way actually responding.

791 i have no delay either but my 50.5x i have a delay depending on the distance. i am used to it tho.
