air space needed

I have limited space(only behind my truck seats reg. cab) I am building a box for a 12" sub. How much air space do I need for the 12" shallow sub in a sealed box? Will polyfill help?

What model is it? Saying a 12" shallow sub isn't enough. Different subs need different space.
