re se vs kicker l5

looking at possiby swaping subs out cause my kickers are a little muddy. i was looking into possibly getting some re se 12's i have no experiance with these subs at all so how would they stack up to the l5's 12's? i wanna try to use the same amp i have now and that is a kicker zx1000.1 maybe get another later. would the re's work off the 1000.1? any help wpuld be appreciated thanks.

They SE's wouldn't get quite as loud, but they would sound better. And they'd run fine off of that amp.

went with re's and couldnt be happier only lost .1 on the tl. the re's are defenatley 10 steps above the l5's all day thanks again for the opinons

yeah tl sealed up was a 5.4 cuft @ 38 box funny thing is the se's did it @ 33 hz in a 4 cuft box. so i was impressed by that for sure

**** man, nice. I was about to say, if you put the SE's in the correct enclosure they won't be that much quieter and sound much better. You obviously got that covered though.
