Aftermarket stereo worked initially but now won't turn on

Bought an aftermarket stereo and installed it myself. Powered up and worked fine initially. After about a month though it all of a sudden won't turn on

Fuse appears fine. When I wired it I simply twisted the wires and wrapped them in electrical tape. I'm thinking maybe there is a short there and I should redo the wiring??

Not sure what else could be the problem but I am a total noob when it comes to this so any help would be appreciated
