aero port size

If I have a 2.25 cube box after displacement, tuned to 34hz, and need (36.0 sq" vent x 21" long). What size would that translate to for a flared aero port? I used this calculator Products Menu .

is that correct?
If you have 2.25 net starting off, you'll have less after adding ports and subwoofers. So far to get close to the amount of sq inches you can go with three 3" aeroports at 21" long for 34hz tuning.

Download torres box calculator, its a free program

Only 12 sqin 5.8 per. Would get port noise.
I did use a 4" x 11" long.

Now I've only got a few hours playing time with them.

As soon as I hear bass the trucks shaking a lot. Like there shaking the truck more than playing music. I'm all about spl, but this has me thinking the port or shape of the box could be better. ill post pics in the AM

also I deadened the crap out of this truck and never had this much cone area in such a small space, maybe im just not use to it.

Just means the tuning is low. You can try cutting the port shorter 1" at a time until you get your desired output but I must warn you. Loud Spl may mean not so good on music

Ya its really low, from reviews I didn't think they would get this low. id rather tune higher but id need to destroy 3 boxes to cut the port. Maybe next time ill only screw the baffle on so i can get in it again.

anyone try to glue a smaller pipe inside a port to narrow the diameter.

Should be able to pull the port out and make it shorter. Don't use a insert

NOT GONNA HAPPEN lol

i used the inside flare, braced the flare, liquid nailed the flare. Would of had someone build it but its 5.5' long x 2.5'tall x 12" deep the ups guy would take a ***** on my door.

ill post pic in AM

Right now 30hz is where I get the highest spl. So most song are lacking bass.

Do you think the indent in the back of box is ok. It's not blocking port but mabey effecting it. 2 kids so I need fit some type of seat. That's the only way to get the depth.

To tune higher what's your opinions

1. reduce port diameter by inserting a pipe into existing port and epoxy the ends to maintain the same flare.

2. Add another 4" port inside box, then add 2 external ports on top of the ports to get a length of 22" overall for each port.

Option 2, not shore if having a flare in the middle of a 22" port would sound ok.

3. Your opinions
