Not necessarily. Most spl competitors use slots for big boxes where aeros are unpractical(some will use kerfed ports to increase eff. however, for single sub setups Aeros are the way to go imo.

Dude, you're totally wrong on this one. The "real" heavy hitters all use aeros.

Aeros are louder than slots in street spl applications. There's no arguing or debating it. This is a fact that has been proven by the top spl competitiors.

Aeros are a more efficient port. You can get the same results as a slot port with less port area and less displacement.
