Advice with business situation....

This is Joe Belmonte of Elevation Audio and I have just seen this thread and we are fully aware of the situation with mike, and me and mike are working together to try and get this resolved and i have to say, mike has some good friends on this forum, and i fully understand that you guys want to support him and that we are wrong on the amplifier shortage situation and mike has been effected by it and we hope to solve this problem for him ASAP! And Iam sorry that it had to come to this and we want to stand behind our dealers if they are small or have 8 stores! either way a sale is a sale and we try to never have product shortages, but we decided to change up our DX line of amps and it has been a very large task, trying to marry a heatsink to our new board has left us with multiple toolings! But needless to say, we were wrong and as a manufacture we should have better informed mike, and i hope that me and mike fully work through this problem and get back on clear pavement. Now as for the phone calling again, i can see that mike has a lot of good friends in here that are trying to support him, and i know that mike has called out to you guys to try and help him through this! But if you could please stop with the phone calls that would be great, point taken! But they are still coming in! i know its a catchy number to dial, but if we could put that to rest, it would be great as we have learned our lesson here! And for those of you that are calling from you work, we are sorry about call your work back and hope that it does not effect you in anyway or form! but for those of you that have made some pretty harsh statements against my company, again i know that you want to support mike but calling us a ****ING joke NGSM13, that’s like in a whole other league, if you would like to give me a call and talk about it, I would really like to spend sometime understanding your issue with us, again guys, we have been doing this for over 8 years! and if we fumble the ball a couple of times it should be highlighted but to be called a fukin joke, that’s a bit harsh, even Manning through a couple of interceptions this year! but either way guys i just wanted to post in here as i have talked with mike and we have put all of our cards on the table from present/past/ and future and i wanted to just let you guys know that i give enough about my company to walk into this thread, under the circumstances and state my case and say that we were wrong and we are going to make a better effort to correct the situation and move on, we have 155 dealers and going strong, we want to stand behind our products, our dealers and our consumers in every way we can and not make this mistake again. I feel as if comparing your business to Peyton Manning is uncalled for. First, in order to be the Peyton Manning of whatever it is you do, you would have to be the best (see: No. 1). So, as I see it, you're either selling car audio gear, and doing a mighty poor job. Or, you're trying to rip people off, and only doing a half-assed job. Either way, you're no Manning. Kerry Collins or Kelly Holcombe, maybe. But definitely not Manning-esque. Keep trying though.

As far as elevation, i agree with 2 post up from me, ur either scamming people, or u should serioussly consider how ur buisness is run an organized cause u seem to be a shitty job, might wanna consider plan b, mcdonalds chain might fit the bill

If in fact there out of amps there is nothing i can do, if there out of products i cant do anything.... We discussed it on the phone there is nothing i can do , he says that it will all be fixed and ill have my new amps and what not when there in, theres nothing i can do as of right now but just take there word for it.....please close this thou before it go's any further because all this gonna do is make me look worse and its going to make it harder on me to get this resolved....
mike dude they sold you products that they didnt have then they gave you the run around for 3 months pretending to have your products on the way but you got nothing, and apparently now you are gonna have to wait possibly 2 more months and now think of your rep now it might be scarred for life because of this and now you are being passive towards those guys man screw them and sue them for selling you a bunch of lies and just think of the potential money you lost dealing with these guys there is absolutely no reason for you to make excuses for them, they screw themselves up

I would agree. If I was a customer of Mikes that had paid for the equipment would have been upset to say the least that I did not get what I paid.

I can only assume that he had to put up with a lot more shit from his customers / friends then you did in the long run…. And I hope he was more responsive….

I still stick with my first statement.. The BB should be called and this incident be reported.

 
Nah, Warren Moon holds the record for most fumbles in a career. I think you're thinking of Kurt Warner, not Collins? Either way, Elevation Audio is the football qb equivalent of Kerry Collins.

 
How many FS threads have you seen get deleted because...oh my friend has this amp and im gonna buy it from his friend once he gets it, so ill sell it to you for $X. Or, Im waiting on my shipment from FI for the new BL (hypothetic situation), and Ill sell it for X. DONT SELL SOMETHING YOU DONT HAVE, CHANCES ARE SOMEONE WILL BE SCAMMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to sell something, you had better be prepared to ship it out NEXT DAY

Im not sure just a refund would cover the damage his reputation took from Elevation's reckless business practices.

I would still think seriously about getting an attorney to help recover monetary damages for his damaged reputation.

An attorney would probably work for a contingency fee on that type of case, so it wouldnt cost anything.
