Advice Please

Hey everyone, i just found these subs and amp on craigslist.http://desmoines.craigslist.org/ele/419333293.html I was wondering if this is a good price. If I end up going to see them what questions should i ask about them? Does anyone think this box is gonna work well? Ive heard shallow boxes arent good for these subs. Also if i end up buying these what else will i need besides wiring and a HU. Thanks!

me personally i would offer between 350-400 for it all seems kinda high at 500 but not to unreasonable.

Wiring for the amp...some way to connect your headunit to the amp (rca's, or a line out convertor) speaker wire from the amp to the subs. I am not familiar with this particular amp, is it a 1500 watts MAX or 1500 watts rms? Also, what type of car do you have? That amp is underated probably puts out between 1500-1800 watts at 2 ohm, these thing do pull alot of current so electrical upgrades may be neccessary if you have a small car.

haha well i dont exactly have a small car considering its a dodge ram. Also how long do amps and subs like this usually last cuz it looks like these are pretty old

they will last as long as they are taken care of and treated with respect. Price is a little steep, but everything is OBO pretty much.

Do i have to buy another hu? is it highly recommended even if i could keep the stock one?

Idk if anyone can tell but does it look like these would fit in a regular cab truck? id say theres about 18 in between the seats and the wall
