Advice on wiring subs to Audison LRX 2.9

Hello guys,

I have an Audison LRX 2.9, it plays:

900 watts RMS x 1 to 4 ohm (1 ch)

450 watts RMS x 2 to 2 ohm (2 ch)

260 watts RMS x 2 to 4 ohm (2 ch)

For more specs:

Audison LRx - LRx 2.9

Edit: Audison does show mono as something different than bridged, this is why I'm doubting. Technically I am bridging, so you'd assume it would have to be a dual 4 ohm coil and wire in series.

They basically also say mono in their tech sheet, I see nothing regarding bridiging. So I think dual 2 ohm is the way to go since the amp has a mono switch and it says 1 ch. So if I want 4 ohm mono it would have to be wired in series to dual 2 ohm voicecoils.

So basically, the question is do I get a dual 2 ohm or dual 2 ohm voicecoil? Because I don't know if, due to the mono switch, the amp neglects the bridging and sees it as a mono amp, suggesting I would need a dual 2 ohm voicecoil. What would be the best option?

Can you guys help me? I'm a little bit lost here.

That 1st pic shows a mono amp(1 ch amp) while the 2nd one shows a 2 ch amp. Just shows the user a few options to choose.

Some mono amps are internally split to give the user more flexability for wiring.

It's not about what the pics show, it's basically visualizing the question. Basically I'm asking if the Audison LRX 2.9 functions as a mono amp in mono mode, or that it's just bridged. I'd need a different coil set up in both options. If it's just bridged I'd need dual 4, if it indeed functions like a mono amp I'd need a dual 2. That's what the pic shows. The LRX 2.9 IS a 2 channel officially but since the specs say 900 watt MONO at 4 ohm and it even says 1ch after that, I figured I'd need dual 2 and wire it in series.

Whats you preferences and goals along with your budget?
I'm doubting between the Sundown SA10 dual 2 and dual 4. I have dual 4 right now, just came in (this ones for a friend) and then he realized he bought the lrx 2.1 (new amp) so I figured he should check if he can really use the dual 4 or if he needs a dual 2. It's still within return time so he can still switch it up for a dual 2. Just need to know what's better?

OMG....It's showing you it can do both. But in order to do so, you need the proper impedance sub or subs.

the dual 2. you might damage the amp at 2ohm and you are only going to get 450@ 8ohm.

Thank you for the clear explanation, idk why Boomin_tahoe is saying either are just as good. I figured double 2 would be better even though it's both possible.

Thanks!

I realize your in another country, but here in the states, english is the primary language. I said it before but dunno if you missed it...you have a few options/choices to pick. Getting the most out of your amp would be what papermaker stated.

A true American, misspelling English. Not capitalizing the letter 'E' is a pretty big mistake mr. American. And I'm sure you mean 'you're' right?

But whatever, I get the point now. I was just a little irritated by your pretentious tone of voice, still am actually.

I've already helped ya a few times above. This would make it number 3. Others have as well. IF you would have said to get the most out of your amp, it would have been a little different. It's not my fault you can't comprehend.
