Hello guys,
I have an Audison LRX 2.9, it plays:
900 watts RMS x 1 to 4 ohm (1 ch)
450 watts RMS x 2 to 2 ohm (2 ch)
260 watts RMS x 2 to 4 ohm (2 ch)
For more specs:
Audison LRx - LRx 2.9
Edit: Audison does show mono as something different than bridged, this is why I'm doubting. Technically I am bridging, so you'd assume it would have to be a dual 4 ohm coil and wire in series.
They basically also say mono in their tech sheet, I see nothing regarding bridiging. So I think dual 2 ohm is the way to go since the amp has a mono switch and it says 1 ch. So if I want 4 ohm mono it would have to be wired in series to dual 2 ohm voicecoils.
So basically, the question is do I get a dual 2 ohm or dual 2 ohm voicecoil? Because I don't know if, due to the mono switch, the amp neglects the bridging and sees it as a mono amp, suggesting I would need a dual 2 ohm voicecoil. What would be the best option?
Can you guys help me? I'm a little bit lost here.
Thanks!
