right now im running two l7s 12" with a kicker kx1200.1 amp. I want to replace my pioneer 3w 6 x 9s for something on the competition level but am unsure of what to buy. I was looking at the new kicker ss components just to keep it from one manufacturer but i want only the best and I dont wanna put something brand new in and it be crap... any help or guidelines I should go by when looking for component speakers? Thanks.

I have experience with CDT components and I like them. Great speaker set at a great price. That is why I currently run them, as I have no reason to switch.

Honestly, beyond what you need. It will do the trick for sure, but it is excessive. Not a bad thing, just more than you will ever need. No need...
