Advice on 15"

Looking to replace my subwoofer that finally died on me. I want to use the same box I have as I don't see having much free time in the forseeable future.

This is what I'm working with:

2.25 cubes ported

650 rms

8 inch mounting depth

looking to spend around $250

This would be my choice too. I've never used one in a personal setup, but have seen several in action. Saw 2 of the 15's on an RD1750.1, and it got LOUD.

You guys honestly think these 15s you are recommending can actually do well in 2.25 cubes? Thats barely enough for most 15s sealed...

The 15" lvl3 is not a good ported box sub, especially in small boxes. Look into the SA15 or a Treo SSi(if you can find one).

I'd persoanlly just build a new box that would work better with a larger variety of subs.
