Advice needed on New install

Before i start thanks to anyone who lends their 2 cents especially you pro installers.

I own a 1998 ford expedition and recently was the car theft (yep they got me good)

i am in the process of building a new sytemand this is what i had in mind

Pioneer d 3 head unit

2 memphis msq6 (front and back doors)

Memphis16 pr 4 amp (doors)

memphis prd 500 (subs)

3 memphis mojo10 subwoofers in a box

2 directed hvm 702 cut in headrest monitor

1 optima yellow top battery

1:The vehicle is stock will i need a new altenator or can i get away with a Cap

like i said i am open to new ideas and any thoughts on changes or sugeestions will be greatly appreciated.

no cap......you shouldnt need a new alt for only a 500watt sub...but you will relly be underpowering those MOJOs

That amp would be good but I don't think he's going to want to spend 1000 or more on 1 amp.

ahahahahaha... was gonna say kicker zx2500, but you'll need a 1 ohm stable amp... i'm guessing...

guys i also wanted to ask is it beneficial to add a distribution block to the set up

mojos want at least 1000 watts RMS to get moving.. and may i suggest a powermaster or DECA battery over the optima... seriously rething the sub/amp stage. decide how much you want to spend. like two 15'' mojos and a MCD2000 would be cool.. but it all depends on what you want...

i will look into that D thanks. Those batteries i probally gotta hunt for Stinger and Optima have a strangle hold in NYC to me.

I won't even lie to you dog i am totally lost on that one right there i need a small class just to get me up to speed. I consider myself a novice right now but someone who wants to see if can build a very good system built into my ride. to me right now if you don't live out west on past Maryland you really don't get a chance to see some real builds unless there is a show or something. sure you got alot of guys out in the streets with some loud stuff but i want a real clean install good music the whole bit so thats why i joined this site alot of guys are putting on to stuff i simply jusst took for granted. My budget so far is around 5g's so i am trying to a good plan down before i take anymore action
