Tax return question

..hey i just filed my tax returns online and i got a pleasant surprise..it said that im receiving 920 bucks back from the federal and over 2100 from the state. Of course it has to be accepted .Ive never heard of the state check being bigger than the federal check..i only paid 1500 bucks into the state how is it possible to get back more.. Has anyone ever heard of this..i didnt claim any writeoffs or nothin like that..but thats the number they came up with..i went back through it just now to make sure i didnt screw anything up and i couldnt find any mistakes...i mean there isnt really anything i could mess up on i just copied the boxes and rounded up or down..

from what i've read

bush is "lending" (By giving extra $ from taxs) people who made 6000 or more an extra 600$, and people who made 6000 or less an extra 300$. Maybe trying to buy our respect cuz hes a horrible president. But, of course, the next year they'll just take an extra 600/300$ from you from your taxes.

But if you think about it, the reason is because our economy sucks right now and the gov't is just trying to throw more money into circulation. Then when the economy is back up, they'll just take that lended money back from you. It's a 0% interest loan for a year basically.

hey Mr Wrong Wong, show me where it says that the $ will be deducted/taken back from us in '09, those are checks that are coming in JUNE guy, not something being added on to taxes.

Yeah, didnt realize he said added on to tax returns, these are seperate checks that are being written out

yea that is comin in june..doesnt really have anything to do with the current tax returns...no i didnt use turbo tax.. i used efiletaxreturns.com...they just asked a few questions you put in you amounts and thats it...federal was free to file and the state was 20 bucks..better to goin to HR block and payin 250-300 bucks..they will direct deposit and i will have $ in 7-10 days it says...but i just thought that that was alot of money for a state return..

i've never seen it but i guess with taxes, everything is possible. im getting 800 from federal and 333 from state
