I am relatively new to the car stereo world, so I was hoping for some advice. I just want to replace my factory headunit and speakers for now. I was thinking of putting Boston Acoustics Pro50 5 1/4 components in the front doors and BA SL80 5x7's in the rear doors. Any pros / cons to this setup? What else would you suggest for speaker setup that may be better?

Thanks

Boston Acoustics? Wow, jumping right in aren't we? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Sounds like a very fine choice to me. What amplifier will you use to power the components?

Changed my mind, I think I'm going with the Pro60's instead. Below are the power numbers for the Pro60's and the SL80's:

Pro60 - 2-125 watts RMS (150 watts peak power)

SL80 - RMS 60WATTS/MAX 200WATTS

What amp do you think would work best (within a reasonable price range)?
