i'm helping my friend with his system and he has a acura RSX and wants a sub and amp for $500-$600...i have some ideas but want some more opionions ...thanks

sq or spl?

sql: 2 12" re se's....bout 4 cubes ported @30hz. Find a tsunami db1100, jbl1200.1, hifonics 1000bx...etc.

more towards spl: 2 12" incriminator audio Lethal injections. Same amps as listed above, also hifonic bx1500d. 5 cubes ported @ 30hz.

sq: mag d2 $300 with a hifonics 1500W $250 on ebay.

or substitute the mag with a XXX either way will be right close to what your looking to spend.

If your friend has the $ for a RSX tell him to put a quality system in it. Its a nice car no need to fill it up with shitty stereo equipment

He might not want 4-5 cubes of storage space taken up by a sub box. If you want awesome but with a little more space effective then id say ed12a while they are still around, magnum, re se/or hc while they are still around, or maybe even a idmax. Amps id go with hifonics 1000, tsunami 1100, or jbl 1200.1
