Advice for a newbie

So im installing a new system in my mustang and wanted to know the following:

1. will my current power supply from the alternator be enough to run a boss amp w/ 160Watts rms x 4 channels as well as my deck's power output to one set of speakers at 50Watts rms as well as another set of kick panel speakers from a ppi amp at 100Watts rms x 2 channels

2. what is the optimum use of the hatch on such a car? im contemplating using it to reflect 2 6.5" speakers im putting in the box with the subs (2 10" kickers)

3. will the addition of the two 6.5" speakers in the box with the sub be good or bad for sound quality ect ect

what im going for is a system to listen to rock mostly that i can crank for looks and get clear, quality sound all the way around. any advice is appreciated

More info on the car..guessing its an 81 mustang. What size alt does it have. I would imagine you will be fine. The boss amp is most likely crap, but it will work fine. The 6.5s in the back are pointless. Just run your 10s in a nice sealed or ported enclosure and be happy. Don't worry about the flames. I would imagine you can just get an all might crappy prefab box and be happy with the sound. Looks like your pinching pennies so that is my suggestion.

Sounds like you have a 4ch amp(boss) and a 2ch amp(PPI). So the Boss would power your mids/highs and let the ppi power you subs. This is what I suggest, but I also suggest buying a better 4ch amp..lol

Just use a run of 4 gauge power wire back to a distribution block and then 8 gauge to you amps(should be fine). Run a 4 gauge ground to a distro then 8 gauge to your amps.

sell everything besides the ppi and start over we can help you set up a nice sounding system for pretty cheap. Oh your deck is not doing 50rms, that is most likely the peak rating it is probably actually somewhere between 15 and 20 watts rms.
