adjusting crossover and more ....

Heres the basics, I have a p4000 UB pioneer head unit, cadence xenith amp for the highs and cdt audio components.

now for the Q. I noticed that thecrossovers have these swithces to adjust from -3 -2 -1 0 +1 +2 +3

I left the switch on zero for now since i dont have a clue what will happend if i make a change. am i better off leveing it st zero or whare does averybody normally have it set on. My head unit has the controls to adjust the EQ on l Im assuming lows,mids,highs. It also has this thing to change the HPF at cetain frequenceys but i havent on off since i dont know Where to put it. The stuff i have in my veichle is on my sig...look below

does your amp have built in filters? just mess around with the settings until you find whats good for you

read the manual or find it if you don't have it. switches are probably for attenuation.

My amp has a switch to chose from full, low pass, high pass. It also has knobs to adjust: Lowpass crossover, Highpass crossover & input level.

Seems like the "Q" control, but then again you said xover not eq. It's probably something like the attenuation.
