Adire subs don't fit

Anybody here with either the Adire Brahma or Koda woofers had problems fitting them in a "conventional" pre-drilled box? I had problems fitting my Koda10 into the conventional 10-inch hole of my box and had to literally hammer it in with a mallet. I am thinking about getting a new box, but this one might be hard to hammer...Any tips? Other than getting a custom box with a custom hole....

DO NOT beat on your subs w/ a mallet!!!! Just sand the hole a lil' at a time until the sub drops into the hole snuggly.

when my subs dont fit, i prefer to use a hammer and chisel.
