heres a diagram to add 2 extra batts.

its pretty simple

with that do i need to ad an inline fuse from the front to the back. and can i use any battery or does it really have to be bry cell

I wouldn't use anything but an AGM or sealed lead acid in a trunk...unless you like the potential for acid spills.

AGM - advanced glass mat, a type of nonspillable battery.

That sketch misses one VERY important thing. Inline fuse, within 18inches of the front battery...I'd go with something like 200-300 amp ANL fuse.

And you need two inline fuses to correctly/safely wire that. Think about it - battery in the rear has power, battery under the hood has power. a single fuse under the hood?? still leaves you with power on BOTH side of the wire. See below

So when a the fuses blow:

and PLEASE only use a sealed battery in the rear. I have gotten sick from battery fumes, it is not pleasant.
