adding a sb500 to my system

i have a 400amp alt. with a 64ah headway bank running a jp63 amp. i also have a sb500 ultracap that is not being used at the moment would i benifit by adding this ultracap with my headway bank or is it a waste of time

well when playing full tilt at idle i drop to around 12.5v not sure if it drops any lower cause i turn volume down before it gets any lower.

I don't think super caps are going to help you with that. You need more alternator. Guessing that 400 amp alternator does around 200 amps at idle.

thats what im guessing 200amp. its a js alternator it does great at 1000-1500 rpm but who likes to rev engine engine while giving a demo lol
