i have been running a mmats 1400.1 to one eclipse titanium 15 for about 2 months now and i havent had any problems SO FAR. i talked to david(v.p.) at mmats friday and he told me that i would melt the voice coil in my speaker if i continued to run the mmats to just one speaker. should i get another ti-15 to be on the safe side or will i be allright? thanks

hmm, how mcuh power r u runin to the eclipse? (at what impedannce is it i guess)

i dont know if that would actually happen to tell u the truth. but anyways, one sub is fine, unless u want louder, n that amp can push 2 15s w/o any problem then go for it.

i'm running the speaker at 2 ohms. david told me the amp can push around 1600-1700 watts. but that is at 1 ohm. i dont know what it is doing at 2 ohms.

If your running it at 2 ohms and you buy another speaker and knock it down to 1 ohm then you will basically be running the same amount of power per sub that you were to begin with. You are probably running around 600 - 800 to your speaker right now. But buying a speaker like he want's you to won't make the power handling any better. But buying a second speaker would increase your volume by double, or around double.

a second Ti would kick and teh MMAtts is efficent so you will be **** happy I think

right now i have all of my audio stuff in my civic. i am in the process of getting all of my wiring problems fixed in the lex. LEXUS **** FAT ***KING NUTZ WHEN IT COMES TO ADDING AFTERMARKET STEREO EQUIPMENT. sorry, i had to get that off my chest. dave gave me the number for a stereo shop that sells mmats and eclipse to call. when i talked to the owner he told me that he has melted 4 ti-15's(run to one speaker at a time) with the mmats 1400.1. so i guess two would be best. if it goes in the civic with the other one then i am worried about blowing out some windows. or shaking my teeth out of my head,whichever comes first. im going to experiment a little with different subs(ordered a 15xxx but wont be available until 1st of jan.) see how that works. im going to get another mmats(2200 or 1400) caude the dealer i got mine from has the bomb *** deals(1400 retails for 899?, try **** close to half that through him). one more thing, if anyone has some info on some secret way to wire up a lexus rx 300 PLEASE hit me up. right now i am running new wiring to every speaker so i can install an alpine hu. cant take out the stock one without major problems and major wire cutting.
