I wasnt trying to be an ***, its just that you're right - DD's prices are retarded considering the coils are from china (gasp, ohhh noes) and the cones are just laminated fiberglass. I mean, come on , ... maybe $50 in parts? Hell the glue is more expensive..

Ok, then post all the prices of the parts if you're so knowledgeable....go ahead, who's the coil maker? who supplies the fiberglass impregnated cones ?? If you think DD makes that stuff in-house, then you're living in a fantasy land.

But again, this isnt the thread to talk about DD, so go make your own if you feel so strongly about it, or if you feel the need ot prove me wrong.

Don't need to prove you wrong, you simply cannot prove that you are right. Until you are somebody that has been invited inside DD's production facility, you need to keep your lying *** mouth shut. Not a threat, simply the way it is. Since you feel the need to open your lying mouth an average of 188.7857142857142857142857 times per month, based on a simple 14 month posting streak on CA.com, your post count could disturbingly make some folks think that you possibly know what you are talking about much less are telling the truth. Just admit to the folks on here that you don't know what the hell you are talking about. It is simple to do. Try it.

Can you prove to us that all DD's components are made in the U.S.? If not, then you need to stop talking as well.

I buy cones, spiders and coils from the same source as DD buys from and they sure don't come from offshore. The magnets are not avaliable in the States and are imported. Our stampted baskets are US made. Our motors are machined in OKC.

The DD9900 series cones are hand made in OKC . The production cost of the DD9900 cone is more then the total production cost of most offshore subwoofers.

Not being an *** but I don't disclose that information. They are produced in the United States.
