I see a lot of u talking about Active HU's,and how u want to go active so my question basicly is..

What is a ACTIVE HU,what does that term mean? Can someone explain?

i know the DEHP88RS-II is active capable. yours may be as well. it will tell you in the manual.

If it's the 880prs or 800 prs than yes it is active capable. There's a switch on the side of the HU that allows it to go 3way active.
