Active Crossover vs Passive

I have a set of A/D/S 346cs that I got on Ebay and I'm taking it to the shop this weekend. My installer has a Audison LRx4.300 that I'm buying from him for half price and I was wondering should I run these to the components at bridged at 210x2 (Speakers are 125 rms) or bi-amped at 65x4. If I biamp, should I go active crossover or use the passive crossovers that came with it? Whats the man difference with an active setup besides tunablity? I'm installed these in the factory stock locations of a 07 Audi A4.

i guess the first question is do you have an active xover?

The Audison has a lot of stuff to play with in regards to the crossover

If you run active then you have to run the amp in 4 channel mode which means less power.

That all depends. The passives might well do a good job. On the other hand, you might do better going active. Depends on how much time you want to spend tweaking. Personally, I don't see a point in bi-amping through a passive. If you're going to do that, might as well go active and get some advantage out of it.
